The Rundown - Questions, Answered
-
The Lucia House is a multidisciplinary creative studio offering branding and strategy, graphic and web design, photography and visual media, content and social media services, and creative consulting and support. Projects can involve a single service or a combination of services tailored to your needs.
-
We photograph brands, products, food and hospitality, real estate and interiors, events, portraits, editorial projects, and other commercial or creative work. Photography can be booked independently or incorporated into a larger branding, website, or content project. For weddings and wedding-related photography, visit Weddings by Vallerie.

Start by completing our project inquiry form with as much information as possible about your project, goals, timeline, and estimated budget. We’ll review your inquiry and follow up with any questions, recommendations, and next steps. Depending on the scope, we may also schedule a consultation before preparing a proposal.

Yes. Many projects naturally overlap. A new business, for example, may need brand development, a website, photography, written content, and social media assets. Services can be combined into a custom project rather than booked separately when that makes more sense.
-
That’s completely fine. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined project. Tell us what you’re working on, what isn’t working, and what you’d like to accomplish. We can help identify which services make sense and build a direction around your goals.

The Lucia House is based in New York and works with clients both locally and remotely. Many branding, design, web, content, and consulting projects can be completed virtually, while photography and other on-location projects are available throughout the Northeast and beyond depending on the project.
-
We approach creative work as a whole rather than treating each service in isolation. Branding, photography, design, content, and digital presence often influence one another, so we look at how the pieces work together. This allows clients to work with one creative studio across multiple parts of their business while maintaining a cohesive direction and visual identity.

Pricing is based on the scope, complexity, timeline, and deliverables of each project. Some services may have established starting rates, while larger or multidisciplinary projects are quoted individually. Once we understand what you need, we'll recommend an approach and provide clear pricing before work begins. Payment plans may be available for larger projects.
-
Our process is collaborative, organized, and flexible. We begin by understanding your goals and what you actually need before developing a direction. Throughout the project, we keep communication open, share progress when appropriate, and leave room for thoughtful feedback and refinement. Our goal is to make the creative process feel clear rather than overwhelming.

By working with The Lucia House, clients agree to the terms outlined in their signed proposal or contract. These terms define the scope of work, timelines, payment structure, deliverables, and responsibilities for both parties. Work begins once the agreed payment terms are met. Any changes to scope or timeline may require a revised agreement.
