Behind The Lucia House
The Lucia House is an independent creative studio built around photography, design, and visual storytelling.
Our name comes from a family legacy. Lucia has been carried through three generations of women in our founder’s family—from great-grandmother to mother to daughter. For us, it represents continuity, creativity, care, and the idea of making something meaningful enough to last.
Founded by photographer and designer Vallerie, The Lucia House brings multiple creative disciplines under one roof. We work across photography, brand identity, graphic design, content creation, and creative direction—helping individuals and businesses turn ideas into visuals that feel intentional, cohesive, and distinctly their own.
Our approach is personal and collaborative. Some clients come to us with a fully formed vision; others arrive with an idea they can’t quite put into words yet. Either way, our job is to listen, ask the right questions, and create work that feels like you—not whatever happens to be trending.
Based in New York and available for projects throughout the Northeast and beyond, The Lucia House works with people, brands, businesses, and stories in all stages of becoming.
